Our Mission The Parent Committee’s objective is to support Children’s Tree House’s mission of operating under the understanding that children need to be treated with warmth and respect. The children served by Children’s Tree House especially need experiences that will foster physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth. The atmosphere at Children’s Tree House will be a caring environment to encourage independence, constructive problem solving, positive self-esteem and improved self worth.
Dear Fellow Parents, A while back some of us at the center were brainstorming about different things we could do to help out with the daily activities at the center to take away some of the burden from the teachers. We know how hard they work on a daily basis to build an educational and caring atmosphere for every child. We wanted to give something back for all that they do! So it was decided, to form a parent committee. Below you will find a Parent Representative for each age group. We have included a brief introduction of who we are. We all look forward to meeting fellow parents and our child’s classmates! If you would like to help out in any way or have ideas, suggestions and/or concerns please contact your parent committee representative listed. Our children are our greatest assets and it is our goal to assist them in providing quality child care benefiting the child, the parent, the staff and our community.
Sincerely, Children’s Tree House Parent Committee
Katie Hansen-Infant Room Representative Hello families! My name is Katie Hansen and I am excited to be the Parent Committee representative for the infant room. My husband, Jake, and I have been part of the Children’s Tree House Family since 2014. Our daughter, Violet, just turned 2 in August and has been coming to the center since she was 3 months old. Our son, Leo, was born in July. He will begin attending Children’s Tree House in October when I return to work. We have been so blessed to have found CTH and can’t thank the staff enough for helping Violet grow and transition to being a big sister. We are comforted knowing that we will be leaving Leo in such capable hands! We love walking in the door and being greeted by name. Words can’t express how much we appreciate the staff’s creativity, compassion and enthusiasm for education. If you have any questions, concerns, or words of gratitude for the staff, feel free to email me at katesahansen@gmail.com. I am more than happy to help in any way that I can!
